This 1.6m roll-to-roll printer retains the Canon Colorado series’ industrial build quality and can be configured to a graphics provider’s needs and grow with their business, with easy in-field upgrades.
The scalable M-series offers a choice of output speeds, Colorado M3 or M5 (cruising speed of 29m²/hr and 40m²/hr and maximum print speed of 111m²/hr and 159m²/hr respectively), with the option to upgrade from one speed to the other either temporarily for production peaks or permanently - making it a future-proof solution. Both printers can also be easily upgraded with the new white ink option to M3W and M5W models as well as equipped with the proven FLXfinish+ matte/gloss print technology option for CMYK prints.
The introduction of the new Canon UVgel white ink option substantially expands the range of applications that customers can create. The white UVgel ink maximises the scope for customers to benefit from UVgel’s renowned performance advantages for a full spectrum of premium graphics and décor applications – for example window graphics, labels and wallpaper.

FESPA launches FESPA Middle East, a new event serving the speciality print, signage and visual communications community in the Middle East and Africa regions. The first edition of the annual exhibition will take place at Dubai Exhibition Centre, United Arab Emirates, from 29 to 31 January 2024.
The exhibition is expected to welcome over 100 global brands. At the event, FESPA will host the first World Wrap Masters competition in the Middle East, a Sustainability Spotlight educational feature, a conference and technical training programme and a Club FESPA Lounge for FESPA Direct (MEA group) members to network.

Filmolux soft organic, it consists of 50 % bio-based polyethylene obtained from sugar cane. Sugar cane is a versatile and rapidly renewable crop that can be used as a clean source to produce the raw material for book protection film. After harvesting, bioethanol is extracted from the sugar cane, which binds CO2 from the atmosphere in every growth cycle, and is used to produce green polyethylene (Bio-PE). This helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventional polyethylene, which is made from fossil resources and significantly improves the eco-balance. In addition, it has the same application and performance properties as petrochemical polyethylene. filmolux soft organic is made from Bio-PE, which consists of more than 50 % renewable raw materials.e a specialist DTF printer, shaker and powder.
