This week, HP is attending dscoop Edge St. Louis, 2023, alongside 1,100 print industry leaders who comprise this unique community. The event presents an opportunity to interact and communicate with a large community of HP customers, and to create competitive advantages for the digital print industry.

“dscoop is about harnessing the power of community to network, communicate, and innovate,” said Haim Levit, SVP & General Manager, HP Industrial Print. “dscoop is HP’s commitment to building an ecosystem that includes our solution partners and allows them to be agile in today’s economy. Also, this event is the opportunity for the entire dscoop global community to meet HP personnel, to listen to each other and discuss current and future challenges, and to enable developing a joint roadmap to continued market leadership.”

During the annual event, HP Indigo will showcase, for the first time in the US, the brand-new HP Indigo 200K digital press, in addition to featuring the HP Indigo 100K digital press which continues to push the analog to digital market transformation. In the flexible packaging market, Future Ready means HP Indigo 200K digital press. Live demonstrations of the press at work will include the end-to-end Digital Pouch factory solution. The 200K is the most productive flexible packaging press, which enables printing pouches in days, not weeks. It is based on the only proven technology for on-demand, sustainable flexible packaging, and presents a dramatic step-up of 30% in speed and 45% in productivity.

“During this last year we saw the percentage of new customers buying Indigo double. This trend supports our vision of the analog to digital conversion,” said Noam Zilbershtain, VP and General Manager of HP Indigo & Scitex, at the dscoop event. “This week, almost 40% of the visitors are attending dscoop for the first time. I’m excited to see this community grow together as we shape the future of the print industry. Only those who dare may fly,” added Zilbershtain. “As an industry leader with a global presence, HP Indigo can provide businesses a degree of resilience during a challenging economic atmosphere. Following a record year of B2 sheetfed press volume, HP Indigo is also celebrating this week the installation of 1,000 HP Indigo B2 presses. The 1,000th B2 machine is an HP Indigo 100K digital press, and the new owner, PSP Hederman Brothers of the US, has been growing steadily during 125 in the print industry.

The HP Indigo 100K B2 press enables true digital nonstop print capabilities at 6,000 sheets per hour, and drives substantial, profitable growth. To date, the 100K press has already set new standards with more than 100 customers having reported output of 100K impressions in an 8-hour shift. “We have shown a 40% increase in revenue one year after installing the HP Indigo 100K,” said Brian Scott, President of Chicago-based Blooming Color.

Also at dscoop, HP Indigo will announce the new HP Indigo 100K HD, with the smooth and razor sharp image quality, and its first two beta sites, at Miller’s Professional Imaging Lab in the US, and at ORWO Net GmbH image processing and digital photo services in Germany.

Earlier this week, HP Indigo announced the PrintOS Software Suite, which infuses power into the production floor and envelops it with productivity, quality, creativity and automation tools. The PrintOS Suite highlights the differentiation of the HP Indigo offering and the business growth the company’s software and data promote. The innovative operating system ushers in the digital transformation, and allows customers to digitize their production floor, end-to-end. The HP Indigo PrintOS Site Flow has led to growth of 242% in print volume since 2019; and Spot Master has seen a 105% growth in adoption during 2022.

Introducing the dscoop Distributed Print Exchange (DDPE)

HP congratulates dscoop for the launch of their Distributed Print Exchange Platform, which offers HP Customers and dscoop members an exclusive, competitive advantage by simplifying outsourcing to a trusted partner, enabling them to broaden their service offerings, expand their reach to new geographies, and reduce delivery time, expenses, and carbon footprint by producing locally. “We are excited to cooperate with dscoop on their DDPE initiative and delighted that they selected HP PrintOS Site Flow as the technology backbone for it,” said Petar Obradovic, Director of Industrial Software Solutions, HP Indigo.

Revolutionizing business and sustainable growth with HP PageWide

HP PageWide will be demonstrating innovations to the HP PageWide Advantage 2200 with high HDNA quality at full speed, 50% faster, and a new version of PrintBeat within PrintOS, that seamlessly provides HP users a similar look and feel to make it easy for them to work with across the HP portfolio of products.

HP Large Format debuts at dscoop with HP Latex R2000 Plus

Another debut at dscoop this year - HP Large Format will showcase the HP Latex R2000 Plus Printer - a hybrid solution that is equally strong in both rigid and flexible substrates.

The HP Large Format stand (booth 311) will also display applications with thermoforming samples, short-run packaging and signage opportunities on a wide range of media, as well as a sustainability section explaining how print service providers can reach new levels of sustainability using the latest large format technology.

MS Printing and Grupo Bloom seal partnership in industrial textile solutions manufactured by MS Printing.

In addition to MS Printing's state-of-the-art machines, customers will have technical support and supplies supplied by the Bloom Group, which has more than 16 years of experience in the textile sector.

MS Printing is a Dover Company supplier with annual revenues of approximately $8 billion.

After over 15 successful years in industrial garment printing, Brother is using their experience in the printing business to enter the market in a new area with the latex wide format printer WF1-L640.

The new latex wide format printer is designed for a large range of applications such as banners, drawings, window graphics, storefront signage, trade show graphics, vehicle wraps and outdoor advertising. Especially interior decorations like wallpaper, floor applications or paintings can be implemented with Brother’s printer.

Through Brother’s experience in industrial printing, they have developed for the WF1 piezo print heads in Brother quality which generates a high quality and high resolution print up to 1200 dpi.
